Seasonal Conversations in Haikus

Day 14 of NaPoWriMo, straight forward prompt – write a poem in a form of dialogue.  Missed yesterday.  So I guess I am 3 in the hole for the challenge 30 poems in 30 days challenge, so far.

(i) Fall

She: Grey skies are
mainstay, take me away to
some sunnier climes.

He: Must endure blues,
can't abandon work, kids, and
free free snowbirds be.

(ii) Winter

He: Snuggle under the
blanket, warmth of body felt.
Except, those cold feet.

She: No complaining
about cold feet, lest sleep with-
out blanket's preferred.

(iii) Spring

Strolling esplanade
pink cherry blossoms above -
romantic, she said.

He: Love these river
strolls, my hand in hand with you.
Now pass the Kleenex.

(iv) Summer

She: Summer dress check
chilled Lambrusco check, lawn chair
check.  Grill, baby, grill!

He: Grilling's art form
of controlled charring, requires
some recognition.
